PEOPLES OGLES (VIEWS) ON
COMPETENCY BASED CURRICULUM (CBC).

Today,
much propaganda has immersed countrywide pertaining the Competence Based
Curriculum(CBC) under the 2-6-3-3 system of education in Kenya was unveiled in 2017 to replace the 8-4-4
system which has served Kenya for 32yrs.Well,numerous views has been derived
which aren’t awkward.
First,
Didmus Barasa, current Kimilili Mp accused the new system of taking advantage
of domestic animals. According to him, CBC is null, void and opaque to entire citizens
saying it’s made to benefit the wealthier. Since 2017, teachers never called
for strike a fact that ought to have been granted them a chance to pinch parents.
More a time pupils are requested to bring: Hen and food staffs for experiments
and post it they never consumes them. Now the question lies; have they come in
a position of sweeping parents?
It s
just few days after the Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua asked Kenyans not to
fume or mummer at the ground but volume-up their views for rectification. He
stated that there are no plans and need to burn the new system (CBC) rather
than ameliorating it.
Who
is stressed and wizened? The parent s suffers abundantly finding the inquiries
from teachers now and then. The research shows that the sons of those rich people
are studying at Diasporas and they neither know CBC nor studied it. Much are
insisting the removal and calling their members of parliaments to raise a
motion at the parliament to oppose it.
The astonishment
lies on the insufficient learning facilities i.e. classes, competed teachers,
excellent practical kitchen etc.Others are tired of fishy rumors about abolishment
of it by prominent leaders. At first, the current government promised Kenyans that
they’ll sweep away this CBC system an act that seems to be irony.
Furthermore,
it has been trending in social media teachers tearing meat as carnivores an act
that extended anguish and one parent fought with a teacher in Homabay and left
him without a tongue. Sever and harsh words curses and a time has reached when people’s
needs must be considered as well as consulting then in nation building
Report
from many suggests that CBC must be fired and remain with the 8-4-4 system that
the late gracious Daniel Moi established. Therefore, Kenyan is patient and pray
persistently waiting the new government to do the reforms smoothly without a
push.
